Jakarta Kreasi Nusantara Bazaar Records Rp200 Million in Sales

The Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency recorded Rp200 million in sales during the first two days of the Jakarta Kreasi Nusantara City Hall Bazaar at the MH Thamrin Multipurpose Hall, Grha Ali Sadikin, Jakarta City Hall.

sales had reached around Rp200 million by the second day of the event

Held from July 20 to 23, the bazaar serves as both a promotional platform and a learning opportunity for supported MSMEs (Jakpreneurs).

Jakarta Kreasi Nusantara Serves as a Platform for MSME Promotion and Collaboration

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Marketing Subgroup Head Sukmo Wismantoro said the bazaar is designed for MSMEs that have recently passed the agency's curation process, giving them the opportunity to market their products directly to consumers. He added that all participants had met the required standards for product quality, packaging, and presentation.

"The City Hall Bazaar is specifically designed for MSMEs that have just completed the curation process. We hope it gives them the opportunity to learn how to sell, build their brand, and introduce their products directly to customers," Sukmo said on Wednesday (7/22).

He noted that the Jakarta Kreasi Nusantara Bazaar brings together around 50 MSMEs with support from strategic partners, including Bank Indonesia, Bank Jakarta, KPPD, correctional facilities, vocational high schools, and regional-owned enterprises Dharma Jaya and Food Station.

According to Sukmo, the collaboration is intended to attract a wider audience so the bazaar does not rely solely on visitors from Jakarta City Hall.

Organizers have also arranged a series of supporting activities, including educational sessions, entertainment, and live band performances, to encourage more visitors and boost sales.

"We hope that after attending the educational sessions or enjoying the entertainment, visitors will also purchase products from our MSMEs," he said.

Sukmo added that sales had reached around Rp200 million by the second day of the event and were expected to continue growing until the bazaar closed.

"We hope sales will continue to increase through the final day," he said.

In addition to increasing sales, Sukmo encouraged MSMEs to continue improving customer service and maintaining discipline.

"Their products are already good, but attitude is equally important—from serving customers and promoting products to being punctual. Those are also key factors in building a successful business," he emphasized.
